Μια κανονική νεκρώσιμη πομπή έγινε τα ξημερώματα στο Λονδίνο έτσι ώστε να είναι όλα έτοιμα για την κανονική διαδικασία, όταν δηλαδή θα μεταφερθεί η σορός της Βασίλισσας Ελισάβετ από το Μπάκινγχαμ στο Γουεστμίνστερ. 

Γύρω στις 4 τα ξημερώματα ώρα Λονδίνου η Βασιλική Φρουρά έκανε μια πλήρη αναπαράσταση της μεταφοράς της σορού της Βασίλισσας Ελισάβετ πάνω σε μια άμαξα.

Η πορεία που θα ακολουθήσει η νεκρική πομπή θα είναι από το Παλάτι του Μπάκινγχαμ μέσα από τους Κήπους της Βασίλισσας, το Mall, το Horse Guards και το Horse Guards Arch, το Whitehall, τον Parliament Street, την Parliament Square and το New Palace Yard.

Ο Βασιλιάς Κάρολος αλλά και τα υπόλοιπα μέλη της Βασιλικής οικογένειας και το ανώτατο προσωπικό του Παλατιού θα ακολουθούν την σορό.
